The grant letter or agreement you receive with your grant check will specify the exact name of the fund.
Please always refer to the Community Foundation as “Tahoe Community Foundation”. You may use “Community Foundation” after the first reference.
“The (project) is supported by a Community Impact Grant from Tahoe Community Foundation.”
Example:
“The Youth Education Program is supported by a Community Impact Grant from Tahoe Community Foundation.”
“The (project) is supported by an Action Grant from Tahoe Community Foundation.”

You do not need to send a tax receipt, but if you want to send a thank you note to a Fundholder, please email it to: donor@tahoecf.org.
Be sure to use the fund name listed on your grant letter. Please note that we cannot provide donors’ personal contact information if it is not already included in your grant letter.

Pictures and videos are the most effective way for people to see the work your organization is doing. Please provide the Community Foundation with any pictures, videos or other content and stories from your program. The Community Foundation may promote your program through annual reports, publications, on our website, or through our social media. Send photos, videos and stories to marketing@tahoecf.org. Please ensure that permission has been given to share these photos via a photo release form and include written permission for our use in the email.
Please use this logo for website acknowledgements and other digital uses. If you require different logo formats or anticipate using the logo for other uses, please contact marketing@tahoecf.org for other logo formats and approvals.
Your right to privacy is very important to us. We recognize that providing the Tahoe Community Foundation with your personal information is an act of trust. The Community Foundation does not share personal information, except as required by governmental entities or legal process. Donor names may be recognized in the Community Foundation’s annual report and other forms of public recognition, unless you chose to remain anonymous.

This website is owned and operated by the Tahoe Community Foundation. Our intention is to inform and educate visitors about our work as a partner in community philanthropy, a grantmaker, and as a community resource. The Community Foundation is committed to honoring the privacy of all those we work with, including visitors to our website.
When you visit us online, you remain anonymous, as we do not require registration to view our website or access information. We may occasionally ask for your feedback via surveys or other communications to better understand your interests and needs. We may also request information through online forms used to register for Community Foundation events or to update our records. The Community Foundation does not share or publicize any personal information gathered through our website.
If you are a Community Foundation fundholder and you use our fund advisor portal, you will be asked to provide your login and password information to authenticate your identity before accessing your fund information. This information is only used through the fund advisor portal platform.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
All access to donor information is strictly limited to Community Foundation employees. The Community Foundation does not sell, trade, rent or share donor information with any other person or organization, for any purpose, except with the donor’s specific permission or as required by applicable law.
The Community Foundation uses an accredited online payment processing vendor (Stripe) that transfers credit card information only to its secure server using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. The Community Foundation does not have access to donor credit card information or account data sent to the online payment processing vendor.
